Fashion with a Purpose

April 23rd, 2010 at 8 pm at Stereo Night Club is when this charity fashion show will be taking place. Please make sure to come and support the event as it is a charity fundraiser for Canada's Variety to help children with special needs.

The show will be featuring designs from Osborne boutiques like: Hush, Mixtape, Shout, Paramix, Frockstar, & Out of the Blue

The Show will also feature local designers: Alex Espinosa, Love Lune, Dizzy Dame, Lennard Taylor, Kamenwatamin Designs, & Hugme Dresswear

Entertainment for the evening includes: Just Dance, & Vicki Shae

The show will also feature a raffle, silent auction, and 50-50 benefiting Variety the Children's Charity.

Hello Everyone! The Fashion with a Purpose Charity Fashion Show for Canada's Variety is coming up! I hope everyone takes the chance to drop by! The show is on April 23rd at 8 pm at Stereo Night Club! I hope you all can make it. We have local talent, local designers, and local boutiques being featured in the show! The show will also have some great raffle prizes! Silent Auction items! and 50-50 draw!

Be sure to check out the show, as ticket proceeds, silent auction, 50-50 draw, and raffle are going to raise funds to benefit Canada's Variety. This charity means a lot to me, as helping children with disabilities and special needs can go a long way to improve their quality of life!

LOOKING FOR DONATIONS AND SILENT AUCTION PRIZES FOR VARIETY THE CHILDREN'S CHARITY

I just wanted to appologize for the lack of updates. I have had a family emergency, a family member became very ill. It is times like these that make you realize how precious life is, and how hard it can be for individuals with chronic diseases--or for that matter, anyone who is ill. These experiences are frightening, but at the same time they allow us to grow, by allowing us to devote more time and love to the ones who deserve it the most at a time like this. I believe that everyone can take part in their ill family member's care, by providing them with company, and love--also by making sure they get involved in their medical care by making sure there is family communication with doctors and nurses regarding what is going on.

I decided to partake in this competition because the competition’s charitable affiliation was very inspirational, and because I believe that every child with special needs should be able to reach their full health potential and dreams. Contestants can raise funds for Variety by creating fundraisers, asking companies to donate items for the Miss World Canada's silent auction, and by asking for pledge donations from companies. Pledges/Donations are eligible for charity tax receipts upon a donation of $20 or more. Silent auction prize donations will help promote/advertise your company's products or services and raise funds for Variety. If you are interested in donating a silent auction item, or if you would like to make a monetary pledge donation, please leave me a comment with your email address.
